Small Engines! No Support Teams! The rules of the Mongol Rally are 3. The second being that each team raise GBP 1,000 for charity. The third being that each team is responsible for itself (as in there is no. support. team. Can you say, "on your own"?). The first rule is (drumroll please): The One Litre Rule. As in, the only cars permitted to take part in the rally are those with a total engine capacity of 1000 cc. According to the Mongol Rally organizers, this means: "You can only use a car with an engine of less than 1 litre, that is generally considered to be crap." Or, as we've said on our homepage, horrifically underpowered.
For a list of cars that meet this requirement check out the official Mongol Rally website.
If you have one of these cars, and would be willing to donate it to the cause, please contact us.
